COTES - Sibir completed the installation of boiler house process equipment at Electromechanical Plant in Berdsk

On October 7, 2011, COTES - Sibir completed the installation of process equipment within the framework of technical retrofit of the heating boiler house at Electromechanical Plant in Berdsk.

The project aims at retrofit of gas-fired heating boiler house for Electromechanical Plant in Berdsk. Its thermal capacity is 20 MW. The whole work package shall be implemented in three stages: engineering, construction and installation works, as well as commissioning.   

The boiler house is designed to completely meet the demands of the plant in thermal energy. Technical upgrading is carried out in order to improve the technical performance and cost-efficiency of heat generation through complete replacement of boiler equipment and auxiliaries as well as the utility systems. The equipment was installed in the existing building provided that its safe maintenance and repairs are properly arranged.

The boiler house will be switched to automatic operation without constant presence of the maintenance personnel. In order to achieve this, the boiler house will be equipped with appropriate automated process control system.
COTES - Sibir will carry out the project on a turn-key basis. At present, commissioning of the facility is underway.
